The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of the Won’t Stop Hospitality kitchen. Energetic, hardworking, and detail-oriented, this position ensures that all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to company standards. The Dishwasher contributes directly to the guest experience by supporting a clean, safe, and efficient back-of-house operation. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment, the Dishwasher upholds the company’s radically different and radically better service philosophy through teamwork, consistency, and pride in every task.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the organization and flow of the dishwashing area.
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils as they arrive throughout the shift.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly sanitized, dried, and stored according to company and health standards.
- Manage the safe use and handling of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
- Replenish clean dishes, utensils, and glassware to designated stations and service areas.
- Assist with light prep work as needed.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain a clean, dry, and safe working floor in the dish area.
- Demonstrate a “clean as you go” mentality at all times.
- Communicate effectively with back-of-house and front-of-house team members to support service flow.
- Adhere to Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. policies
- Practice “clean as you go” habits and complete assigned closing or side work duties.
- Uphold all company food safety, sanitation, and labeling policies.
- Other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with consistent execution of prep standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment operation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to work collaboratively under the direction of the Kitchen Manager and BoH Shift Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred. Must demonstrate basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment’s notice.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
