Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

Greet customers arriving at the dealership.

Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties.

Answer customer questions about cars, financing, and the purchase process.

Accompany customers on test drives, ensuring a positive experience.

Collect licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices.

Sales Process:

Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles.

Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options.

Maintain a daily follow-up task list for your customers.

Address customer concerns promptly.

Product Presentations:

Perform quality product presentations and demonstrations to potential buyers.

Inventory Management:

Assist in maintaining the inventory of available vehicles.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Sales or Customer Service experience is helpful but may not be required, depending on other work experience.

Desire to learn and grow in a retail environment.

Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid in-state driver’s license and good driving record.

Excellent communication skills and grammar proficiency.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Physical Stamina:

You’ll spend a significant amount of time on your feet, walking around the dealership lot and showroom. Stamina is essential for maintaining energy levels during busy hours.

Lifting and Carrying:

Occasionally, you may need to lift and carry items such as brochures, paperwork, or small accessories. While not heavy, having the ability to handle these tasks comfortably is important.

Mobility and Agility:

Moving between vehicles, assisting customers during test drives, and accessing different areas of the dealership require agility and mobility.

Visual Acuity:

Good eyesight is necessary for reading documents, inspecting vehicles, and identifying details during product presentations.

Communication Skills:

Clear verbal communication is crucial. You’ll interact with customers, colleagues, and management regularly.

Driving Skills:

A valid driver’s license is required. You may need to drive vehicles during test drives or move them within the dealership.
