Job title: Business Development Executive

Location: Homebased, South Korea

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our Regulatory Services - Medical Devices team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling BSI’s full portfolio of products and services within the Medical Device Certification industry.

As a key member of our commercial team, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities by gaining a deep understanding of clients’ business needs and aligning them with BSI’s solutions. We are seeking a sales professional with a strong background in business development and excellent relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote quality management system schemes (ISO13485, MDSAP), product
    safety approvals (CE Mark, UKCA etc) and related medical devices
    certification.

  • Work with customers to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume
    and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

  •  Develop and manage relationships with targeted accounts and their
    business leaders to ensure BSI is well placed to win new business and/ or
    maintain and grow existing business.

  • Prospect and pursue new business to expand the client reach of BSI.

  • Coordinate requirements, develop and negotiate contracts and integrate
    contract requirements with business operations to close new business
    deals.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, or Health Sciences related
    field.

  • Previous experience in sales/technical position in medical devices
    industry.

  • Regulatory affairs (RA) experience will be an advantage.

  • Good communication, negotiation, presentation and persuasion skills,
    service minded.
