We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support plant operations by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949) by following maintenance procedures, maintaining accurate logs and inventory records, and recommending process improvements.
Adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE at all times. Report unsafe conditions immediately, prevent environmental hazards, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to emergency and unscheduled repairs during production
- Must be willing to work overtime and mandatory call-ins as needed.
- Replace defective components and test for proper functionality
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Identify and report abnormal equipment conditions
- Perform general facility maintenance (light plumbing, painting, minor repairs)
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Maintain consistent attendance and professional communication
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with hand tools and manufacturing equipment
- Basic electrical repair and welding skills
- Ability to disassemble and repair machinery
- Ability to read measurements (digital and manual)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Preferred
- Experience with PLCs, automation systems, and industrial hydraulics
- Basic computer skills (maintenance systems, logs, etc.)
- Formal mechanical training or certification
- Welding certification
Schedule: Monday through Friday, shift beginning at 6:30 AM
Overtime: Required when necessary
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent on experience
