About the Role

Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic 5th & 6th-grade football coach for our Junior Knight Football program.  This role requires a proven background in coaching football, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a genuine passion for guiding student-athletes to grow both athletically and personally. The coach will help foster a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and excellence while mentoring students in character, discipline, and academic balance.  THIS IS A VOLUNTEER POSITION.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as a football coach for our Junior Knights program.

· Assist in planning practices that enhance skill development.

· Lead, motivate, and mentor student-athletes on and off the field.  

· Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and parents to promote a positive athletic experience.  

· Assist in managing team logistics, including scheduling, equipment, and game-day operations.


Qualifications:

· Experience coaching youth, middle school, high school, or college football.

· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  

· Commitment to fostering a student-centered environment emphasizing character and personal growth.
