Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Conference & Events Sales Manager to lead our Conference & Events team and drive the successful delivery of events across the resort and Convention Centre.
This is a dynamic role combining team leadership, event delivery and revenue generation, where you’ll manage your own portfolio of events while guiding a team to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences. You’ll play a key role in building strong client relationships, driving repeat business and maximising revenue opportunities, while further developing your leadership capability within a large-scale resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Conference & Events team
- Manage events end-to-end from confirmation through to post-event follow-up
- Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and satisfaction
- Identify and drive upselling opportunities across events
- Oversee event coordination, reporting, and forecasting through Delphi
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure seamless delivery
- Monitor team performance, KPIs and planner feedback
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Conference & Events or hotel sales leadership
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams
- Experience managing events from planning through to execution
- Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and results
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with Delphi or similar systems highly regarded
