About the Role

Description

Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School (Hendersonville, TN) is seeking offensive and defensive assistant coaches. This position is for non-faculty coaches.  Assistant coaches should demonstrate the ability to build meaningful connections with JPII students, parents, prospective families, and the overall school community.  Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School is a 6th-12th Grade Catholic School in the Diocese of Nashville. We are committed to the mission of preparing students to become strong in mind, body, character, and spirit for the lives of learning and service according to the gospel. We seek candidates who understand our mission and wish to serve a diverse student body as role models who exhibit integrity, faith, and a commitment to academic excellence. Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in developing and implementing a structured, competitive, and values-driven football program.  

· Plan and conduct practices that enhance skill development, fitness, and tactical understanding.  

· Lead, motivate, and mentor student-athletes on and off the field.  

· Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and parents to promote a positive athletic experience.  

· Assist in managing team logistics, including scheduling, equipment, and game-day operations.


Qualifications:

· Experience coaching high school, college, or professional level

· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  

· Commitment to fostering a student-centered environment emphasizing character and personal growth.

-Proven ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with JPII students and their families.
