Job Description
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with company and client requirements.
- Conduct inspection and testing of mechanical works including piping, HVAC, firefighting systems, equipment installation, and structural components.
- Review and approve method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality procedures.
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with project specifications, drawings, and international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and NFPA.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance.
- Conduct material inspections and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and vendor documentation.
- Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Witness and document pressure tests, hydrotests, pneumatic tests, and equipment functional tests.
- Maintain quality records including inspection reports, checklists, and test reports.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Liaise with client representatives and third-party inspectors during inspections and approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in QA/QC for Mechanical works in Oil & Gas / MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, AWS).
- Experience working with ADNOC or major Oil & Gas clients is preferred.
- CSWIP / AWS / API certification is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of welding, NDT, material inspection, and mechanical testing.
- Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Additional Information

- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software (e.g. Oracle or SAP) is preferred.
