About the Role

Description

 Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is looking for a Janitor with amazing attention to detail and a team player attitude handle the day-to-day upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, trash areas, light bulbs, and more at MacDonald West Apartments in Downtown Portland. 


You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas as directed by the Property Manager. 


Location:  Macdonald West

Hourly Rate: $17.00-$19.00/hr

Schedule: PT, Monday to Friday

Weekly Contracted Hours: 20

Additional Compensation: A monthly $25.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

What you will bring as the Janitor (Job Responsibilities):

  • Janitorial experience is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products for janitorial duties.
  • Able to work with people of diverse backgrounds. 
  • Customer-facing position, requiring regular and frequent communication with residents and office staff to exchange information.   
  • Able to follow instructions and work individually or as part of a team.
  • Possess current and valid driver’s License, proof of insurance and clean driving record in order to run work-related errands when needed.
  • Awareness and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices.
