About the Role

Overview

Provides technical support to the lab by receiving/processing requisitions/specimens and ordering specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures. Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer.

Qualifications

Education Required

·         High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

·         Associates Degree preferred, with a minimum of 6 semester hours of chemistry and 6 semester hours of biology, but not required.

License, Certification and/or Registration

·         MLA certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency (i.e. ASCP or AMT) preferred.
