Job Summary: 

Cooks to order and issues to servers’ eggs, omelet’s, hot cereals, hamburgers, and all other menu items from breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Prepares meats, seafood and poultry for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing for all menus. Also prepares and makes accompanying sauces, garnishes, etc. for these items.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and professional Morning Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will prepare food according to the chef’s specifications and assist in setting up stations for our menu. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting our culinary goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen staff.
  • Follow instructions from the executive and sous chefs.
  • Clean and maintain your station, managing any leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality food delivery.
  • Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 
    • Minimum of 1 year in cooking (required)
    • Minimum of 1 year in restaurant experience (required)
  • Education: 
    • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Skills: 
    • Proven cooking experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
    • Strong understanding of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
    • Ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
    • Familiarity with industry best practices.
    • Culinary school diploma is a plus.
