Full-time

Pay: $18 - $20 / hour depending on experience.

As a Parts Shipping and Receiving Specialist at Vern Eide Motoplex, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts department. Your primary focus will be the management of shipping and receiving parts, accessories, and equipment, while also contributing to our online and backup parts service. This role, though non-customer-facing, is vital for meeting customer demands and maintaining our high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments
• Stock and organize parts
• Inspect and document incoming items for accuracy and condition
• Unload freight trucks
• Organize parts within the department
• Package and ship customer orders
• Maintain shipping and receiving records
• Collaborate with the Parts Department team to fulfill orders and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with inventory management
• Keep the parts department clean and well-organized
• Perform daily recycling duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive or powersports shipping and receiving preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (more than 50 pounds)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen, and have a safe driving record
• Must have a valid driver’s license
