About the Role

Annual compensation: $98,000–$120,000 (including quarterly bonus)
Job Type: Full-time
Work Setting: In-person, clinic
Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Let’s be real: not all therapy companies are created equal. Some places give you a title and a caseload. At North Shore Pediatric Therapy, you get something different: a career you’re proud to talk about because you can point to the kids who are speaking their first words, eating family meals for the first time, or finally thriving in a classroom because of the work you and your team led.

We’re the kind of company where:

  • You’ll actually feel good wearing the swag, because it represents a place that values assent-based, ethical care and backs clinicians with real resources.
  • Unlike most providers, our centers practice true interdisciplinary care. BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, PTs, neuropsychologists, and mental health providers working side by side, often co-treating, so kids get support that reflects the whole picture of who they are.
  • When someone asks, “So what do you do?” you won’t just say “I’m a BCBA.” You’ll tell them you work at one of the few companies that refuses blanket 40-hour recommendations. While others default to preset buckets, we use a framework that considers diagnostic severity, adaptive functioning, age, access to other therapies, and quality of life. The result? Recommendations that are individualized, ethical, and built around the child and family in front of us.
  • Your leadership changes kids’ lives in visible, measurable ways, with OBM dashboards that guide smarter decisions, families who say “We finally feel heard,” and a team that grows stronger because of your coaching.

This is an opportunity to do the best work of your career — leading remarkable clinicians, solving meaningful problems, and impacting the lives of families every single day.

Who Will Love This Job:

  • A natural coach: You love helping people grow and get excited when your team succeeds.
  • A culture-builder: You believe collaboration and laughter go hand-in-hand with great care.
  • A detail + big-picture thinker: You can toggle from reviewing documentation to mapping out a 5-year vision without missing a beat.
  • A problem-solver: Scheduling puzzles, tricky conversations, and “no easy answer” questions don’t scare you.
  • A connector: You enjoy building relationships across disciplines, from BCBAs to OTs to teachers and families.
  • A little bit goofy: You’re the kind of leader who might organize a team lunch, celebrate small wins with confetti, or bring creative energy to everyday moments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and grow your BCBA + RBT teams while supporting interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Drive clinical quality, training, and performance standards.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor new clinicians.
  • Partner with doctors, teachers, SLPs, OTs, PTs, and mental health providers to deliver wraparound care.
  • Support strategic planning, efficiency, and operational improvements across programs.
  • Build a culture of collaboration, growth, and support.

What You Bring:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), licensed in the state of Illinois and in good standing.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong communicator who is proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Passion for serving children and families, especially those with autism and developmental needs.
  • Ability to perform essential functions such as sitting, standing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 45 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

Why Join North Shore Pediatric Therapy?

Because leadership here matters. You’ll see your influence in:

  • Kids who thrive because of the care your team delivers.
  • Clinicians who grow under your coaching and guidance.
  • Programs that improve because you helped design them.

And because we know great leaders deserve great support, here’s what we offer:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family.
  • 25+ days off in your first year through PTO + 7 paid holidays.
  • 401(k) with company match to plan for your future.
  • $500 Professional development stipend + free In-house CEUs — we invest in your growth.
  • A supportive environment where feedback fuels growth, creativity sparks ideas, and laughter is part of the job.

We know you’re already doing incredible work where you are, but at North Shore Pediatric Therapy, we’re committed to creating an environment where you can do even more—while being supported, celebrated, and inspired along the way. Whether you’re ready to make a move or just want to explore your options, we’d love to show you what else is out there. Let’s talk about how we can help you lead, inspire, and grow in your career.
