This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Decision Support Consultant. This role is crucial for organizations aiming to improve their financial, operational, and clinical performance through effective analytics and reporting. The consultant will work closely with the Decision Support team and finance organization, ensuring that data is transformed into actionable insights. By preparing datasets that are accessible to non-technical users, the consultant will also play an important role in training and mentoring junior analysts, contributing to the team's overall success and growth.
\n- Respond to ad hoc requests for data and reporting from leadership and partners.
- Gather requirements and lead the development of new Tableau dashboards.
- Develop new data sources and processes to support the Decision Support team.
- Utilize automation tools to improve data processes and reduce manual tasks.
- Engage with IT to advocate for new technologies and resources.
- Serve as an internal consultant by evaluating business needs and recommending solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to manipulate large datasets for business insights.
- Experience in designing and delivering data visualizations.
- Strong capability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Desire to improve existing tools and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter capable of driving projects with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
