About the Role

Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel operating smoothly and looking its best. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment throughout their stay.

Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces (e.g., plumbing, lighting, HVAC, furniture, drywall, and painting).
Respond quickly to guest requests and reported issues with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, emergency equipment, and facilities to ensure safety and efficiency.
Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of maintenance shop and storage areas.
Collaborate with the housekeeping and front desk teams to address guest and operational needs in a timely manner.

Prior maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, or similar facility strongly preferred.
Basic knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
