About the Role

Devsinc is hiring a Software Engineer Ⅰ – MERN Stack with 1.5+ years of post-graduate hands-on experience in building and maintaining full-stack web applications using MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+), RESTful APIs, and database design, along with practical exposure to developing scalable, high-performance applications. You should be comfortable working across both frontend and backend, writing clean, maintainable code, and contributing to production-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Python/ Node.js and Express.js.
Design and manage efficient database schemas (MongoDB/PostgreSQL).
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Assist in implementing authentication & authorization (JWT/OAuth).
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Full-stack/ MERN development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) & hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js (Express.js).
Experience building REST APIs and microservices (basic understanding).
Familiarity with MongoDB or PostgreSQL (CRUD operations, basic schema design).
Familiarity with Git, version control, and code reviews.
Understanding of async programming (Promises, async/await).
Basic understanding of ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, or similar) is a plus.
Exposure to Docker/ Ci-Cd/ cloud (AWS preferred) is a plus.
Basic understanding of logging & monitoring tools (Winston, Sentry) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills & excellent communication skills.
