Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Mission Hills, California.

This role supports a high-volume IR department performing complex vascular and interventional procedures in an acute care hospital setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for IR Techs experienced in vascular and interventional procedures who are comfortable assisting in complex cases and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced procedural environment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift 4x10s (07:00–17:30) :contentReference[oaicite:0]index=0

• Weekday call hours: 17:00–07:00 :contentReference[oaicite:2]index=2
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage :contentReference[oaicite:3]index=3

• Floating may be required within system

COMPENSATION

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiography and embolization :contentReference[oaicite:5]index=5
• Prepare and maintain sterile field during procedures :contentReference[oaicite:6]index=6
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians during procedures :contentReference[oaicite:7]index=7
• Perform vascular access support and device setup :contentReference[oaicite:8]index=8
• Assist with stent placements, biopsies, and drainage procedures :contentReference[oaicite:9]index=9
• Monitor patient status and assist with emergency interventions :contentReference[oaicite:10]index=10
• Document procedures and patient care

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Interventional Radiology procedural suite

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology Tech experience REQUIRED :contentReference[oaicite:15]index=15
• ARRT (R) REQUIRED :contentReference[oaicite:16]index=16
• ACLS and BLS REQUIRED :contentReference[oaicite:17]index=17
• RCIS certification preferred :contentReference[oaicite:18]index=18
• Experience with vascular and interventional procedures REQUIRED :contentReference[oaicite:19]index=19
• Ability to maintain sterile field and assist in procedures REQUIRED :contentReference[oaicite:20]index=20
• Must be willing to take call with 30-minute response time :contentReference[oaicite:21]index=21
• Must meet 50-mile radius rule :contentReference[oaicite:22]index=22
• Locals accepted at lower rate :contentReference[oaicite:23]index=23
• Active California license required (if applicable)
