South West Plumbing, Heating, Air, Electric has served the Greater Seattle area for over 45 years.  

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Install Supervisor to lead and support our Sewer Division. This role is responsible for ensuring all installation projects are completed on time, meet our high standards of quality, and are executed safely and efficiently. 

This is a hybrid (office/field) role with a strong field presence- approximately 70% of your time will be spent in the field conducting quality checks, supporting installation teams, and engaging directly with customers. 

You will report directly to the Head of Underground (Drains & Sewer Division) and play a key role in maintaining our reputation as the most skilled and well-trained sewer installation team in the region.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supervise and support sewer installation crews in both field and office environments  
  • Conduct daily field visits to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and meet quality standards  
  • Inspect installations for compliance with company standards, codes, and safety regulations  
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to installers to improve efficiency and workmanship  
  • Hold team members accountable to performance expectations, timelines, and safety protocols  
  • Lead and contribute to weekly accountability and coaching meetings to drive team performance and continuous improvement  
  • Communicate directly with customers on-site to ensure satisfaction and address concerns  
  • Ensure timely and complete collection of payment immediately upon job completion, working closely with customers and internal teams as needed  
  • Coordinate with internal teams to manage job progress, scheduling, and issue resolution  
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety guidelines  
  • Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors or rework

  • Competitive Pay & Bonuses: Total compensation $102,000 - $110,000

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven background in construction management or field supervision  
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:  
  • Trenching operations  
  • Sewer, drain, or water pipe installation  
  • Rough-in construction or reconstruction work  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage job timelines and ensure on-time completion  
  • Strong understanding of installation quality standards and inspection practices  
  • Experience working in residential service or construction environments preferred

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and hold teams accountable  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (team and customer-facing)  
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship  
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously  
  • Solid understanding of job site safety requirements and PPE enforcement  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven environment  

Work Environment 

  • Hybrid role: Approximately 70% field / 30% office  
  • Daily travel to job sites required  
  • Active, hands-on role requiring regular site inspections and team interaction
