About the Role

Description

For nearly 60 years, ECOS has been a pioneer in sustainable innovation, proving that a company can be both purpose-driven and performance-oriented. As a Climate Positive manufacturer and leader in green chemistry, we are committed to creating products and experiences that make homes healthier and the planet safer. Our mission is simple but bold: to inspire people to live in harmony with the Earth, one conscious choice at a time.

This role brings ECOS to life through events, partnerships, media, and content with a focus on driving meaningful brand visibility that is intentional, credible, and on-brand.

This is not a traditional event role. We’re looking for someone who can create buzz, build relationships, and elevate ECOS and its leadership, while ensuring everything we do aligns with our values and positioning.

The right candidate is both an operator and a strategic thinker, someone who executes seamlessly, brings a point of view, and acts as a trusted voice in how and where ECOS shows up.

Key Responsibilities

Events & Experiences

  • Lead planning and execution of ECOS events (retail activations, press events, sustainability forums, key brand moments)
  • Ensure events are designed for impact, storytelling, and amplification, not just execution
  • Manage vendors, budgets, timelines, and logistics

Media, Press & Visibility

  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and media outlets
  • Proactively pitch ECOS stories, events, and leadership to secure earned media
  • Identify opportunities to generate buzz and cultural relevance
  • Ensure events are positioned as externally relevant and newsworthy
  • Build and manage relationships with celebrity talent, agents, and managers
  • Identify, negotiate, and coordinate celebrity and high-profile talent participation, ensuring strong brand alignment

Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility

  • Help elevate the CEO’s thought leadership and external presence
  • Identify and support opportunities for media, speaking engagements, and industry visibility
  • Turn events and company moments into platforms for storytelling and influence

Social, Influencer & Content

  • Partner with social teams to ensure events are content-driven and shareable
  • Build relationships with influencers and creators aligned with ECOS
  • Support content across before, during, and after event moments

Brand Stewardship

  • Ensure all events, partnerships, and opportunities are on-brand and aligned with ECOS’ values
  • Evaluate opportunities through a brand-first lens, not just reach or exposure
  • Provide recommendations on what we should and shouldn’t do
  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership, helping guide brand-right decisions

Collaboration

  • Partner across Marketing, PR, Social, Sales, Creative, and Sustainability teams
  • Ensure alignment and integration across all touchpoints

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in events, PR, brand, or experiential marketing
  • Experience with media outreach, press, or earned visibility
  • Strong understanding of social and content-driven marketing
  • Proven ability to create engaging, brand-aligned experiences
  • Strong judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership
  • Organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
