Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara is seeking a Program Manager for our Teen Programs (grades 7th–12th) for our onsite and outreach programs.

Essential Job Functions
• Support the planning, development, implementation and facilitation of programs throughout Santa Barbara County to effectively advance the mission of the organization to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
• Manage and supervise the Teen Program Coordinator, support their professional development, and enhance their ability to deliver programs with impact.
• Provide staff with relevant training and information and help them meet challenges through problem-solving and collaboration.
• Foster growth, resourcefulness, and well-being in girls served through coordination with staff, families, and community partners.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the organization's teen programs and enhance opportunities for collaboration.
• Represent Girls Inc. within the community through collaborative community partnerships, outreach, and coordination of joint projects.
• Participate in the facilitation of staff trainings, meetings, and events.
• Support the financial sustainability of Girls Inc. through budget management.
• Ensure the physical safety and wellbeing of all participants and staff through full compliance with Community Care licensing requirements, quality assurance assessments, and program evaluation assessments.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, positive and equitable environment for all participants and staff.
• Abide and adhere to the safety requirements and procedures of our operations.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience working with youth in a structured educational setting.
• 3+ years’ experience supervising staff.
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in early childhood education, child and adolescent development, elementary education, or social work.
• 12 college level units in early childhood education or any of the following areas: sociology, psychology, art, music, dance, drama, recreation, education.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Vaccinations as required by State Law for licensed child care facilities (TB, Pertussis and Measles immunization. Flu vaccine recommended, but optional).
• Strong communication skills and ability and desire to work as a team member of a diverse and dynamic team.
• It is highly preferred that applicants possess a clean driving record and have the ability to drive the organization’s class C vehicles to safely transport youth passengers and all other driving needs.
• Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is highly desired.
Hours of Position
• Full Time Exempt, in person
• Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week. Must be present during program operation hours (hours may vary by season; some weekend and evening hours required).
Compensation and Benefits
• $70,000–$75,000 depending on experience and education
