Local Class A Truck Driver
We are seeking a reliable Class A DOT Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies
- Transport goods and materials to designated destinations efficiently and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety procedures to prevent accidents and violations
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo when necessary
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record
- DOT certification and compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and traffic laws
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as needed
