Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the clinical assisting team to ensure efficient daily operations
- Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams
- Oversee clinical workflows, room turnover, and instrument readiness
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing clinical team members
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards
- Communicate effectively with leadership to support patient care goals
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements
- Active dental assistant certification per state requirements
- Previous pediatric dental assisting experience preferred
- Proven leadership or lead assistant experience
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, instruments, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication, organization, and team-building skills
