Description

MacArthur Place, Sonoma’s premier luxury resort, is seeking a Senior Valet Parking Attendant to join our front-line team. This hands-on role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while safely parking and retrieving vehicles. Serving as both a first and last point of contact, you’ll help create seamless and memorable arrival and departure experiences for our guests.


In addition to performing all standard valet duties, the Senior Valet Attendant supports team members throughout shifts by assisting with daily tasks and workflows, working side-by-side in guiding peers during operations, and actively contributing to smooth and efficient service. This role models professionalism, safety, and operational excellence at all times and actively participates in maintaining a high standard of guest experience.


What You’ll Do:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide anticipatory, high-quality service. 
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles, following traffic laws and hotel procedures. 
  • Assist team members with daily tasks and workflows, supporting smooth operations. 
  • Maintain valet area cleanliness and ensure surrounding guest areas are welcoming. 
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and coordinate with management as needed. 
  • Model professionalism, safety, and operational excellence at all times. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous valet, driving, or hospitality experience preferred; luxury hotel experience a plus. 
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear driving history; ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles. 
  • Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; calm, composed, and detail-oriented in a busy environment. 
  • Ability to obtain Food & Alcohol Handler’s Certification if required. 

Physical Requirements & Schedule:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). 
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. 
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
