What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring support for our Night Shift Quality Control Team.  As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing quality checks on production lines.  Have general knowledge to perform analytical testing on lab equipment. Requirements, desired qualification, skills and abilities located below. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all procedures to maintain a safe execution of duties
• Have knowledge on the lab testing equipment-LECO Protein Analyzer, pH meter, water activity and NIR.
• Have knowledge of the Safety Data Sheets for chemicals used in lab testing and wear proper safety protection equipment
• Work with peer, supervisors and subordinate groups
• Perform quality checks on finished product off the production lines
• Collect samples for analytical testing and product cuttings
• Collect and retain samples of all products produced
• Make recommendations for lab improvements
• Able to work in other areas of facility if required

Qualifications

• General mathematical ability and basic computer skills
• Self-motivation and Good judgment and reasoning abilities
• Work shifts as required and Safe work record
• Good attitude and Use of specialized lab equipment
• Able to climb to working heights in excess of 20 feet and work in dusty environment
• Lifting in excess of 50lbs and continuous walking/standing
• Working hot/cold and loud environment and occasional bending, stooping, crouching, carrying and lifting
