The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for estimating electrical loads, designing layouts for switchgear and cable routing, and sizing transformers. They will also manage a team of design engineers and draftsmen while ensuring designs meet project specifications and schedules.

Job Description

Responsible for:

Estimating Electrical loads, lighting loads, normal / Emergency loads.
Layout of the Switch gear rooms
Sizing of HT/LT transformer
SLD, Wiring Diagram.
Bus duct layout
Cable routing & Sizing
Cable Tray Routing & sizing
Preparing Illumination layouts
Reviewing the vendor Documents
Inspection of Equipment & its Erection.
Having knowledge of C&I equipment & layout will be preferred.
Independent working as well as managing a team of design engineer and draftsmen.
Responsible for delivering designs with in BOQ quantities as well as within the quoted man hours.

Qualifications

BE / BTech (Electrical) with 5-8 years’ experience in relevant field.

Additional Information
