Description

SORA is hiring a qualified AM line cook for our growing company. Take your culinary career to the next level in this dynamic restaurant kitchen.


Applicants must:

  • be punctual
  • have reliable transportation
  • have two years of upscale dining experience
  • chop vegetables, butcher meat, measure ingredients, prepare sauces, and store food safely according to health standards.
  • cook vegetables with care and meats to proper temperatures
  • be self motivated


The application process consists of both a standard interview and a working interview/stage.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience preparing and cooking food..
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, loud environment and can stand for up to nine hours.
  • Have no problem bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Culinary degree is preferred.
  • ServeSafe certification is preferred.
  • Catering experience is beneficial.
