Expo/Room Service (Part-time)

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Service/ Expo server to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to ensuring a positive dining experience. As a Room Service Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms while maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety.

Job Duties

• Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately to guest rooms.
• Ensure all orders are presented in an appealing manner, adhering to hotel standards.
• Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, including bussing tables after service.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and hotel policies regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred, with a strong focus on customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic math for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
• Familiarity with food safety practices within the food industry is highly desirable.
• A proactive approach to guest relations, demonstrating a willingness to help and ensure satisfaction.
