About the Role

Description

Housekeeping Team Members (“Haus’keepers”) play an essential role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all Gravity Haus members and guests. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas to Gravity Haus standards. Haus’keepers are expected to work efficiently and independently, completing their daily room assignments with minimal oversight, while embodying the Gravity Haus values of service, community, and excellence.

 

Seasonal Opportunity (June 7 – September 30)

We are hiring for the following seasonal roles:

  • 4 Housekeepers 
  • 1 Laundry Attendant 

Shifts are typically 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, replenishing linens and amenities, and ensuring overall room readiness.
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, common areas, and service spaces as assigned.
  • Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and guest concerns promptly to supervisors.
  • Follow established procedures for the safe use of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Restock housekeeping carts daily and ensure supply closets remain clean and organized.
  • Work with minimal supervision while demonstrating initiative, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Uphold Gravity Haus’ values by providing friendly and professional service to guests and members when encountered during duties.
  • Assist with Laundry duties as required, including washing, drying and folding of Linen and Terry.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned room quotas consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required

Work Environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours).
  • Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or push up to 30 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
