Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and operational excellence of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively as well as the ability to handle various administrative tasks and resolve guest issues.  


Key Responsibilities:

- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across departments

- Assist in developing and implementing business strategies to achieve organizational goals

- Lead and motivate team members to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction

- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships

- Contribute to staff recruitment, training, and development initiatives

- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on operational performance


Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a similar industry; Previous hotel experience preferred

- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite 

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
