Line Cook - Back of House


Join our esteemed country club as a Back of the House Line Cook, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in their craftsmanship. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a prestigious team committed to excellence and hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards

- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service deadlines

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

- Assist in inventory management and proper storage of ingredients

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

- Support special event catering and banquet service as needed

Requirements

Key knowledge, skills, and abilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Possesses a commitment and eagerness to provide excellent customer service
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods, with relevant culinary/restaurant experience preferred
  • Organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others and work as a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and uphold a positive and enthusiastic attitude
