Role
As an experienced Live-In Carer, you’ll be supporting older adults in their own home with providing reassurance and helping them feel safe at home.
Key Tasks
- Provide round-the-clock care, including personal care, companionship and home help
- Be a consistent and comforting presence, offering support tailored to each client’s unique needs
- Assist with tasks such as cooking, medication reminders, housekeeping and emotional support
- As a Live-In Care Professional, you will receive with 3 meals a day or food allowance to be discussed upon interview. Your own room to stay in and access to a TV and WiFi and a 2 hour break each day, when best for our clients
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable.
- Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS
- You have the right to work in the UK
- This post is open to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the intimate support services provided to female service users
Desirable:
- Level 4 English and IT literate
- Dementia experience
- A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
- Resilient, reliable, proactive with a can-do attitude
- DBS on the Update Service
