Job Summary

Kunes Auto Group is looking for a reliable Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will pick up and deliver parts and equipment to our customers, wholesale accounts, satellite stores, and vendors. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
  • Coordinate last-minute pickups or deliveries with the Parts Manager or team before leaving.
  • Deliver parts to the Body Shop as needed.
  • Verify that invoices match purchase orders for each pickup and delivery.
  • Collect payments and ensure they match invoices.
  • Maintain a daily log of deliveries and pickups, including recipient signatures.
  • Unload the truck daily and return all paperwork and undelivered parts.
  • Perform basic truck maintenance, such as fueling, checking oil, and keeping it clean.
  • Notify the Parts Manager of any required major repairs or maintenance for the delivery vehicle.
  • Assist with stocking parts and performing bin checks as needed.
  • Maintain the professional appearance of the parts department and delivery vehicle.
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • 4 years of driving experience required.
  • Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and invoices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading parts.
  • Must be able to work Tuesday - Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM - Saturdays 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during deliveries.
  • Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
