Partnering with jewelers across the nation, we host multi-day estate buying events, providing customers an opportunity to have their valuables evaluated and receive a no-obligation offer. 


Job Overview 

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key role in aligning people strategies with business objectives. Serving as a trusted advisor to National Rarities’ leaders, this role provides guidance in employee relations, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and culture. The HRBP partners closely with leadership and the HR team to drive engagement, strengthen retention, and support overall business success. 

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties 

Employee Engagement & Retention: 

  • Build strong relationships with leaders to serve as a coach and strategic partner in employee relations, performance management, and career development.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and high performance. 
  • Partner with leadership to improve workplace relationships, morale, productivity, and retention. 
  • Design and facilitate leadership development and training programs. 
  • Lead the annual employee engagement survey process, including analysis and feedback sessions.

Talent Management & Development: 

  • Provide guidance on coaching, feedback, compensation, and organizational development.
  • Support managers in setting expectations and managing performance consistently and fairly. 
  • Identify development trends and recommend proactive solutions based on feedback processes and survey insights. 

HR Operations & Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives aligned with business needs. 
  • Partner with recruiting to support effective hiring strategies.
  • Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism. 

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and navigate complex conversations.
  • Proactive, self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with Paylocity and ATS platforms preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and talent development.
  • Experience supporting leaders in a consultative HR role preferred.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading others preferred.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus.
