Job Summary - Pay: $50,000 - $75,000 (DOE)
We are seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee residential and light commercial rebuild projects following water, fire, or mold mitigation. This role involves collaborating directly with insurance carriers, mitigation partners, subcontractors, and homeowners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with clear communication throughout.
Responsibilities
• Manage reconstruction projects from mitigation handoff to completion
• Coordinate with mitigation companies for accurate scopes and smooth transitions
• Review scopes, estimates, and supplements for insurance approval
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to secure approvals and resolve discrepancies
• Act as primary point of contact for homeowners during rebuild
• Schedule and manage subcontractors, inspections, and materials
• Track job progress, budgets, and documentation
• Ensure quality standards, timelines, and building code compliance
Requirements
• 3+ years of reconstruction, restoration, or construction project management experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Valid driver’s license
Preferred
• Xactimate experience
• Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters
• Restoration or insurance-based construction background
• Experience working with mitigation companies
