Description
- Assisting the front desk receptionists
- Transporting surgery/drop off appointment pets, getting them settled in kennels and adding them to the whiteboard
- Retrieving pets when their owners are here to pick them up
- Rooming clients for their appointments, entering information into the chart and computer
- Pulling charts for upcoming appointments and filing charts
- Cleaning/re-stocking the front desk area and treatment rooms;
Requirements
- This is a great entry level position for someone who is interested in learning about veterinary medicine
- Detailed-orientated with strong communication skills
- Physical ability to sit, stand, kneel, help restraining animals, walk a patient on a leash and lift animal in/out of a kennel
- Knowledgable computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple duties in a fast pace environment
- Positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must be able to work afternoons and saturdays
