Location: Exeter & Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Position Details: Temporary Full Time



Join MVSB’s retail banking team this summer in a temporary full-time seasonal position, where friendly, motivated individuals can gain valuable experience while making a real impact. This position will float between our Portsmouth and Exeter, NH branch locations.


Seasonal Bank Teller rate of pay is $20.00 per hour and payable bi-weekly on Fridays



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of on track to graduate high school or high school diploma or equivalency 
  • Previous related experience and/or training in a customer service environment 
  • Intermediate use of desktop applications
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills  
  • Must be able to work Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to travel between branch locations


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process customer deposits, account withdrawals, cashing checks, issuing bank and travelers checks, issuing and redeeming savings bonds and processing loan payments 
  • Promotes and sells bank products and services to new and existing customers
  • Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently
