About the Role

Motek, a part of Happy Corner Hospitality collective, is a Mediterranean concept restaurant. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences to our valued customers. Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our operations.


Position Overview:
As a receiver, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen with stocking and receiving orders from our vendors. This position starts at 6:00am on days worked.


Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Assist Chef's with ordering products.
  • Be main point of contact to receive products from vendors.
  • Review invoices carefully to ensure orders match what was received.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
  • Support with prep and dishwashing duties, if needed.

Requirements


  • Minimum of two years in a fast-paced kitchen environment. (Experience with Mediterranean food is a plus.)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Bilingual (not required however, it is a huge plus.)
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
