Position Summary:
This position leads a team of technical personnel and is responsible for the execution of Facilities Department operations. Mainly to provide support for Facilities Operations at Manufacturing and related areas (e.g. warehouse, walk-in freezers and etc.). This position also covers the repairs of the facility’s structure and equipment, including electrical, HVAC and etc.
The person will also maintain databases for Facilities Operations & Maintenance function. Assists with administrative functions for facilities and Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) groups and coordinates PM’s, work requests, and vendors as needed. The person should be able to guide the team member and able to perform complex problem solving with least guidance. Should be able to generate comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operation of Facilities equipment
- Perform hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance of Facilities system such as Reverse Osmosis Deionized (RODI) Water System, HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical systems etc.
- Execute Work order planner role
- Planning and Scheduling for Equipment/System PM per Master List
- Liaise with Vendor for Scheduling of Equipment/System PM per Master List
- Supervising/execution of maintenance activities as per schedule
- Attend to any interruptions at the manufacturing and other related areas
- Response and troubleshoot operations/equipment issues
- Support all manufacturing and related areas, ensuring smooth operations and uphold environment safety
- Involve in Operations & Maintenance Improvement Projects
- Support Facilities Change Control (FCC) (site assessment, change requirement and etc.)
- Execute document change
- Execute & closure of MMS work orders
- Monitor Environmental parameters through Building Management System (BMS) & Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Monitor System/Equipment performance through Building Management System (BMS) & Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Attend to Out-of-Specification (OOS) scenarios at manufacturing and related areas
- Execute sensor calibration/verification tasks
- Support all audits (Internal & External)
- Execute Daily Log Recording
- Support to review and revise equipment/system checklist periodically
- Generate Log trending for Engineer to review
- Assist Supervisor to lead programs (e.g. PM work status tracking, event setup planning, CM progress monitoring etc.)
- Able to guide team member on problem solving
- Able to perform complex problem solving with least guidance
- Able to generate comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report
- Able to contribute to implement improvement actions in innovative and effective way
- Lead in establishing of Predictive Maintenance based on Life Cycle Management plan
- Able to identify, Procure, and Manage critical spares for Equipment/System
- Support to establish or renewal of Maintenance Service Contracts for Equipment/System for Vendor
- Able to initiate request in the platform such as ARIBA, iFunctional, Agiloft when needed
- Able to support on the Annual Plant Shutdown planning
- Ad hoc assignment by Supervisor

Position Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to be on 24-hour standby
- Able to perform rotating 12 hours’ shift support if required
- Basic proficiency of simple software applications programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skill
- Able to generate simple reports
- Committed and be a good team player
- Ability to work independently and with all levels
- Ability to interface with all levels of the company in a professional manner

Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
- Preferably with working experience in a cleanroom/manufacturing facilities environment
- NITEC/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong electrical fundamentals with hands-on troubleshooting experience
