About the Role

[What the role is]

ASSISTANT ENGINEER, DEPOT EQUIPMENT & MAINTENANCE VEHICLES PROJECTS

[What you will be working on]

You will play an integral role in managing depot equipment and maintenance vehicle projects for the new and existing MRT lines, including design review, interfaces, site delivery and installation, testing & commissioning and performance monitoring. You will be required to produce technical reports, and provide administrative support to the projects including managing of incoming and outgoing correspondences, arranging meetings, and writing minutes, etc. You will be working closely with cross functional teams from different disciplines within LTA, appointed Railway Operator, relevant parties and stakeholders to ensure that the projects are well co-ordinated and progress according to the stipulated timeline.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• A team player who is meticulous, proactive, and responsible
• Good writing and communication skills
• Good overall computing proficiency including Microsoft Office
• Self-driven with strong initiative to learn and willingness to get hands-on experience for site works
• Available to perform shift work including weekends and public holidays when necessary
