About the Role

Description

  • Serve as main point of contact for HR related questions or concerns 
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) 
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters in a fair and consistent manner 
  • Field HR inbox daily to answer employee inquiries and/or forward to appropriate individual 
  • Coordinate full lifecycle recruitment for warehouse staff  
  • Manage temporary staffing needs, reconciling all timecards, invoices and generate reports as needed 
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws  
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation 
  • Support performance review processes and documentation  
  • Partner with supervisors on coaching and development plans 
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding process 
  • Review and provide approval for all Midway GA timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing; 
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve interdepartmental relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention 
  • Provide HR support for OSHA, operational sustainability, and social compliance initiatives. 

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources 
  • Fluent in English and Spanish 
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality  
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
