We are currently hiring for a Shipping Clerk position in our Oxnard CA Distribution facility. This position is full time, we have great benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, HSA, 401k w/ company match, Vacation Pay, Sick Pay, Jury Duty Pay and more.
This position is responsible for: Pulls, packs and ships goods both domestic and international goods with forklifts and pallet jacks; checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items pulled with paperwork. Reviews all pulled materials against order documents and report any variances. Loads goods onto shipping conveyor system, packs boxes and laces goods on pallets for shipment.

- Perform general shipping duties which may include pulling, packing, organizing pallets of product.
- Assist in loading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner.
- May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machine; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
- Use bar code scanners with inventory and enter products into the appropriate shipping and/or inventory program.
- Schedule shipments and determine carrier and freight terms; compare freight rates among competing carriers.
- Review and verify materials being shipped with order forms and report any variances to the purchasing and/or accounting departments.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of materials shipped.
- Must be able to lift at least 65 pounds.
- Must able to work in busy warehouse environment, in which temperatures may vary from outside weather
- Able to perform repetitive tasks including but not limited to: bending squatting, standing, walking, moving arms/shoulders in spinning or turning motion, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Pay Rate $18.50
