We are looking for a Material Coordinator to support our Graphics team in Akron, Ohio. The LSI Industries location in Akron, OH is the hub for the Printed Retail Graphics & Décor, Digital Solutions, and Adapt Program Implementation businesses. These businesses provide turnkey product and service solutions to the Grocery, Quick Serve Restaurant, Retail Petroleum & Convenience Store and Pharmacy vertical markets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load or un-load trucks when they arrive
- Verify the handling units that are shipping or receiving match the BOL or delivery receipt
- Verify the product quantity received matches the packing slip
- Receive the purchase order into JDE
- Move materials from Receiving Dock to Material Control
- Material Control pulls material according to the Manufacturing work order
- Material Control facilitates material to all departments in the plant
- Keep Material Control racks neatly organized
- Tow Motor experience required
- Schedule trucks for daily shipments
- Create the necessary BOL’s for daily shipments
- Speak with truck drivers/dispatchers on the phone
- Must be able to become proficient with our ERP system - JDE
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
