About the Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the Billing Management, this position is responsible for the oversight of all self-pay and collection accounts, ensuring that the days in accounts receivable stay within set guidelines.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent education required

2. A minimum of one (1) year experience in the medical/dental setting required

3. Knowledge and experience working with third party insurance and FQHC billing preferred

4. Knowledge of CPT, CDT and ICD9/10 preferred

5. Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required

6. Experience in Electronic Practice Management/Medical Records system required (Nextgen preferred)
