Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Cutting Operator to support our steel building manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for measuring and cutting cable to required specifications for customer orders. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and requires a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and consistency. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cable cutting equipment to process material according to specifications.
• Measure and cut cable to required lengths based on work orders.
• Follow written instructions to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Handle and move materials safely in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report discrepancies or equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and production team members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift or combi-lift certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.
• Previous machine operation experience or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
