They will develop and implement data collection systems while identifying process improvement opportunities to optimize efficiency and data quality.

SUMMARY: The Data Analyst are responsible in turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, developing analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
· Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
· Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect them.
· Perform valid and reliable SWOT analysis.
· Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.
· Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
· Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
· Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
· Proven working experience as a data analyst.
· Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
· Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages.
· Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.).
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
