About the Role

Job Title

Groupleader Project Planning

Job Description

At Toyota Automated Logistics, collaboration, continuous improvement, and long-term thinking are at the core of how we work. We are looking for an experienced leader who is ready to shape project planning at a global level while empowering a team of professionals to perform at their best.

This is more than a leadership role—it’s an opportunity to influence how complex, international projects are planned and delivered, and to make a visible impact across our organisation.

Your impact

As Team Leader Project Planning, you bring direction, clarity, and energy to a team of project planners working across EMEA and APAC. You combine strategic oversight with a hands-on mindset, ensuring that planning is not only accurate and reliable, but also continuously evolving.

You will:

  • Shape the future of project planning by strengthening capabilities, standards, and ways of working
  • Enable people to grow by coaching, supporting, and creating an environment where individuals and the team can thrive
  • Drive performance and predictability across the full project lifecycle—from early design to execution
  • Champion continuous improvement, embedding a culture where learning and innovation are part of everyday work
  • Stay connected to the work, contributing as a project planner and leading by example

Your influence reaches beyond your team. You work closely with stakeholders across the value chain and play an active role in the Project Execution Management Team.

What makes this role unique

  • A true balance of leadership and hands-on contribution
  • The opportunity to operate in an international environment with real strategic impact
  • A role where you can shape culture, mindset, and ways of working, not just processes
  • The chance to build and grow a high-performing team in a supportive, people-first environment

What you bring

You are an experienced leader who enjoys developing people as much as delivering results. You bring a strong foundation in project planning and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence and clarity.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

  • Experience in an international, project-driven organisation

  • Strong expertise in planning and scheduling

  • Proven leadership experience, with a coaching-oriented approach

  • The ability to connect, influence, and communicate across different levels and cultures

  • A proactive, pragmatic, and improvement-driven mindset

  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus
