About the Role

The Airborne & Mission Solutions Division within Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Mission Systems Integrator (MSI) supporting a high‑impact Operations, Sustainment, and Development program at a customer facility OCONUS. As the prime contractor on a 10‑year, single‑award IDIQ contract supporting the United States Army, Leidos delivers advanced capabilities that keep mission‑critical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems operating at peak performance.

In this role, you will be at the center of a fast‑paced technical environment—integrating complex systems, diagnosing and resolving issues, and ensuring the reliability of state‑of‑the‑art ISR platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and fellow MSIs to drive technical planning, software‑network design, integration, verification, validation, and fielding activities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving difficult technical challenges and enjoys working directly with customers and mission partners.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will participate in Integrated Product Teams, coordinate regularly with the Site Operations Lead at Ft. Gordon, GA (FGGA), and engage daily with customers to ensure mission success. This is a unique opportunity to support a critical Army program while working with cutting‑edge technology in an operational environment.

This position is based OCONUS, with approximately 10% travel to Leidos, customer, and subcontractor facilities, including surge travel to support integration and testing events.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Integrate and test COTS/GOTS products, including installation and configuration of software in pre‑production and production environments.

  • Monitor system performance and ensure systems meet operational requirements.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and outages to maintain mission readiness.

  • Conduct performance analysis and technology maturity assessments through application review and load testing.

  • Perform systems integration, testing, and deployment of cross‑domain solutions on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

  • Observe and interpret system and network indicators to assess operational status.

  • Use automated tools to proactively identify and resolve system performance issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain software for end users.

  • Serve as a liaison with Government customers and external agencies in a professional and timely manner.

  • Provide regular feedback to the FGGA Site Operations Lead and Program Management.

  • Support all mission integration and operational tasks as directed.

  • Complete all contractually required and Leidos corporate training and certifications.

  • Support shift work as needed to meet mission surge requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree with 4 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph.

  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).

  • Experience supporting Airborne ISR and executing SIGINT missions.

  • Experience with operational processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) technical support.

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Baseline and Computing Environment certification.

  • Experience with Red Hat / Linux environments.

  • Familiarity with operations, patching, and COTS upgrades.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Leidos and subcontractor teams.

  • Ability to travel approximately 10% for meetings, integration, and testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS Project, Office, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Knowledge of Army Airborne ISR operations.

  • Understanding of SIGINT mission workflows.

  • Experience with Army and National Intelligence policies and procedures.
