Are you ready for your next step within Material Control?
Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Material Control Team Leader to join the team based at Watt Close, Andover.
The job will involve supporting Stairlift Manufacturing whilst looking after the operatives in your team, organising overtime as needed and ensuring team output complies to requirements. In addition, you will take responsibility for existing and new processes and look after and organise any training/development within your team as and when required.
As the Material Control Operative, you will work Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45, Friday 08:00 - 13:00. This is a permanent contract.
To be successful as the Material Control Team Leader, it is essential that you have previous experience within a modern manufacturing environment; experience of Kanban systems, stock control and material replenishment processes would be highly desirable.
Material Control Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Manage holiday approvals, RTWs, clocking records, overtime approvals, emails, shortage meetings, OTIF meetings, and weekly H&S audits.
- Train team members as required.
- Ensure the team meets minimum multiskilling levels and works towards agreed targets per grade.
- Support the Material Control Manager in collating required data within deadlines.
- Take responsibility for existing and new processes as required.

Qualifications
Material Control Team Leader Key Requirements:
- Proven experience coordinating a small to medium-sized team.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety principles and procedures.
- Strong character with the ability to drive and motivate a team.
- Positive “can-do” attitude with determination to drive the cell forward.
