Services at all offices include the latest 3D mammography with results while you wait and screening breast ultrasound for women with dense breasts. Cancer risk assessment is a part of every appointment. Bone density is offered at most offices. The main office in Brighton offers Breast MRI, Breast Biopsy and Genetic Counseling.
About the Role

Description

The Position:

We are looking for a per diem Physician Assistant. This position works with a team, using MRI to serve our high-risk patients;  weekend position (up to 10 hour shifts) and occasional evening shifts (4:30-9:30pm).

 

General Responsibilities and Duties

  • Experience in Radiology setting; Radiology PA preferred but willing to train.
  • Work with support staff and MRI technologists to provide care to High-Risk Breast MRI screening patients
  • Proficient IV skills
  • Must be knowledgeable and comfortable in treating Gadolinium contrast reactions with assistance of MRI technologist(s) and staff: triage, treat and document.
  • Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures.
  • Active part of MRI patient through-put: Screen MRI patients for safety, place IV for contrast administration and assist with MRI patient positioning and room turnover.
  • Train on and operate power injector
  • Use Avairis (EWBC electronic medical record) for documentation 

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensing 
  • BLS required
  • Team-player with excellent communication skills
  • Breast MRI experience in radiology setting preferred but not necessary
  • Self-motivated/independent
  • Ability to maintain great customer service skills in a high-volume facility 


Performance Standards

The Per Diem PA/NP is expected to perform well in a team environment, also possessing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The expectation is that the needs of the patient are always the priority. The ability to multitask and attention to detail is essential in this role. This position reports directly to the High-Risk Department Manager.

Hourly: up to $80.00
