Description
Sunshine Disposal & Recycling has an opening for a Customer Service Representative for our Spokane Valley customer service center. Duties include all aspects of inbound and outbound customer calls. This is a seasonal (approximately 5 months) full-time position. The work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Overtime may be required depending on business needs. This job has an hourly wage of $23.32.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.
- Helps meet customer needs by assisting customers on phone with billing and other service related questions in the areas of pick up schedules, pricing, and service types offered. Direct customers to proper service provider in areas not serviced by Sunshine Disposal and Recycling.
- Sets up new customer accounts and updates existing accounts by entering data in to Encore computer program. Coordinates with Government entities to ensure accuracy of data when required.
- Calls customers who are past due to inform of potential service interruption. Assist with printing and mailing of notices to past due customers.
- Coordinates with other dispatchers about service and sets up scheduled pick-ups and coordinates with drivers.
- Performs special projects for the Customer Service Manager and other management team members.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year work experience in a call center or other customer service center.
Must be able to transport self to and from the work site in Spokane Valley.
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must pass background check for handling of payment transactions
Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
- Regularly (6+ hours) sit, stand, walk, see, hear, grasp and reach.
- Seldom (1-2 hours) climb, lift (up to 20 pounds), stoop/crouch, crawl pull/push, carry.
- Clearly see 10+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors
